Teflon adhesive tape is also called Poly tetra fluoroethylene adhesive tape. Poly tetra fluoroethylene is developed and produced by DuPont in the United States. DuPont used the trademark “Teflon” in the registration and promotion of PTFE materials, so PTFE is used to call Teflon adhesive tape.

PTFE (Teflon) tape is made from glass fiber yarn through mechanical weaving into cloth, which soaked with Teflon emulsion and dried to semi-finished product, and then coated with silicon adhesive to a high temperature resistant tape.

PTFE(Teflon)adhesive tape is a kind of high-performance, multi-purpose new composite product. It retains the good properties of glass fiber cloth, but also retains the characteristics of Poly tetra fluoroethylene, such as smooth and non-stick surface, insulation, chemical resistance and high temperature resistance.

Application
PTFE (Teflon) tape is commonly used for heat sealing of food, pharmaceuticals and packaging, various mechanical rollers requiring anti-adhesion, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance.
