PTFE Teflon adhesive tape has excellent performance, but unqualified products will greatly affect the use of PTFE Teflon adhesive tape. The following are the test items and detailed test methods we made during the production of tape.
1. Adhesion: A test method for evaluating the adhesive strength of the tape to adherend.
Test condition: JISZ02378
To be adhered: SUS304 steel plate is ground with No. 280 water-resistant abrasive paper
Test piece: width of 20mm (25mm)
Paste conditions: After laminating in the environment of 23 ℃ / 65% RH, press back and forth 3 times with a 2Kg rubber roller and place for 20 minutes, Teflon mesh conveyor belt.
Measuring temperature: 23 ℃ / 65% RH
Peeling speed: 180 ° peeling at 300mm / min
Unit: gf / 20mm (gf / 25mm)
2. Retention: Test method for evaluating the cohesive strength of the adhesive.
After the test piece is attached to the adherend and fully pressed, hang a certain weight in the vertical direction of the oven, and after a certain period of time, test the moving distance (mm) or falling time (minute) of the adhesive.
Test condition: JISZ023711
To be adhered: SUS304 steel plate is ground with No. 280 water-resistant abrasive paper.
Paste area: 20mm * 20mm
Measuring temperature: 40 ℃
Weight load: 1Kg
Measurement time: 1 hour
3. Teflon high-temperature adhesive tape. Rolling ball initial adhesion: Test method for evaluating the viscosity of adhesive (this refers to initial adhesion).
J.DOW method: on a smooth surface with a 30°inclination, use a rolling ball with a driving distance of 2/32 inch to 32/32 inch to start sliding from the super point of the sliding distance to determine the maximum rolling ball number where the steel ball stops on the rubber surface.
Test condition: JIS023712
Measurement environment: 23 ℃/ 65% RH
Sliding distance: 100mm
Sliding distance: 100mm
4. Peelability under constant load: one of the methods for evaluating stress resistance. Test method to evaluate whether it is easy to fall off and resistance to warp.
To-be-adhered: SU304 steel plate is ground with No. 280 water-resistant abrasive paper.
Paste area: 20mm * 50mm
Measuring temperature: 80 ℃
Weight load: 200g (100g)
Only the product pass the test are considered qualified products. Please do not purchase unqualified PTFE Teflon adhesive tape. If you have any questions during the test of tape, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
